Treasurer Zweifel Announces Communications Director

JEFFERSON CITY - State Treasurer Clint Zweifel today announced Jon Galloway as the Director of Communications for his office.

A native of Jefferson City, Galloway will oversee office communications efforts, including those related to legislative and policy priorities and programs it administers. He will serve as media contact, and will build on the Web-based efforts that recently began with the launch of the new Web site at www.treasurer.mo.gov.

"We have developed a plan to make resources and information about our work more available to citizens of Missouri," Treasurer Zweifel said. "Jon's marketing and business background brings experience and innovative ideas to implement that plan."

Jon Galloway previously was an account executive for Moroch, a field marketing firm, in Creve Coeur, Mo., from 2004 to 2006. He has also served as vice chair of the Commission for Access and Local Original Programming in University City, Mo., and as secretary of the Historic Preservation Commission in Columbia, Mo. Prior to joining the State Treasurer's Office, he was finance director of Treasurer Zweifel's successful campaign.

Galloway is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a Bachelors of Journalism and a Master of Business Administration in 2004 and 2008, respectively.
